PLUGIN GMIC
> Este plugin de início parece ser difícil de trabalhar com ele, mas depois que a pessoa "pega" o jeito percebe que ele é fácil, apenas é um pouco diferente da maioria
> A primeira coisa a perceber nele, é que quando você ativa o plugin, ele abre em uma janela fora do PSP e fica minimizado na barra de tarefas do Windows. É só clicar no ícone que abre a janela e aparece a lista de efeitos, cada efeito tem uma setinha ao lado que mostra outros efeitos.
> Alguns efeitos como o Frame, que é para colocar bordas, depois de aplicar o efeito, ele abre uma janela para salvar a imagem com o efeito.
Por isso é bom, você logo de início abrir uma pasta com o nome gmic. claro que você coloca o nome que desejar e abre no arquivo que quiser. Para facilitar para mim, eu sempre abro com esse nome, na pasta do tutorial, claro.
> Toda vez que você salvar uma imagem com o efeito do gmic, logo em seguida, você abre essa imagem e continua a trabalhar nela e a outra imagem que você vinha trabalhando, você pode deletar, ou minimizar na área de trabalho, ou salvar e excluir depois, fica a seu critério. Sabendo que depois de feita a outra imagem é nessa nova imagem que você continuará a trabalhar. Alguns tutoriais até usam a imagem anterior, porém, isso é informado no tutorial.
> O efeito Frame, dependendo da configuração, ele manda salvar a imagem e a frame. Nesses casos, você abre as duas imagens no psp, copia a frame e cola na imagem.
> Uma coisa que tem que prestar muita atenção, é na imagem salva que vai abrir, pois às vezes você pode se confundir e abrir a imagem errada, por isso, sempre salvar, verifique o número da imagem que aparece no título do arquivo.
> Algumas pessoas têm relatado que baixou o plugin mas ele não funciona. No meu caso, aconteceu o mesmo, mas eu fiz com ele o que sempre faço quando um plugin não funciona, eu mostro o caminho do plugin para o PSP:
File/ Preferences/ File Location / Clico em Plugins, no lado esquerdo da janela / Depois clico em Add/ Localizo a pasta de plugins / Abro / Seleciono o plugin que não está funcionando(no caso, o gmic) / clico em OK / Reinicio o PSP
Isso sempre dá certo para mim.
> Se fizer isso e mesmo assim não funcionar, aí tem que ver qual é o problema, pois vai depender de cada computador:
- Pode ser que você tenha uma versão antiga do PSP e como o GMIC é um plugin novo, pode ser que ele não funcione, aí, é o caso de atualizar a versão do PSP. A autora destes tutoriais usa o PSP 2020, eu uso o PSP X9 e não tivemos problemas.
- Pode até ser o arquivo que veio o plugin, aí, você instala outra versão;
- Pode ser alguma DLL corrompida, sugiro que instale novamente as DLLs, no site da Renée e de outras pessoas têm essas DLL's;
- Pode ser também que você tenha o Windows 11 instalado e esse é terrível pois tem muitos plugins que não funcionam nele.
> Eu consultei Manyi e ela me disse que uma das coisas que podem causar isso, é que muita gente, ao baixar um plugin, baixa numa pasta, descompacta e depois copia e cola na pasta de plugins.
Ela disse que é para descompactar direto na pasta de plugins, que é o que eu faço quando faço o download, eu clico no Winrar e no próprio winrar eu já descompacto para a pasta do plugin dentro da pasta Plugins(talvez por isso, o meu não deu problema).
Exemplo: Faço o download, ele vai direto para a pasta Downloads, aí, eu clico no ícone do winrar duas vezes, ele abre uma janela, em cima, eu clico em Extrair para: / Na janela Caminho e opções da extração, no lado direito, eu clico no sinal + ao lado de documentos Documentos(que é onde está a minha pasta de plugins do PSP) / clico na pasta PLUGINS(pasta onde coloco meus plugins) / clico em Nova Pasta / seleciono / clico em OK.
Isso é tudo o que lembro sobre esse plugin no momento. Sempre que eu lembrar de algo novo, ou aparecer mais alguma informação, eu colocarei aqui.
Espero que isso ajude vocês.
Mas, eu digo à vocês, todo o trabalho vale à pena, pois esse plugin tem efeitos lindos e é bem fácil de usar, só exige atenção.

COMO INSTALAR O PLUGIN:
1. Faça o download do plugin
2. Observação: Algumas pessoas, fazem o download do plugin, salva o arquivo compactado numa pasta, copia e cola na pasta de plugins. No caso do GMIC, NÃO FAÇA ASSIM. Faça xatamente como mostro abaixo
3. Na pasta downloads, clique duas no arquivo do gmic que está compactado no winrar
4. Na janela que abrir, clique em Extrair para:

File/ Preferences/ File Location / I click on Plugins, on the left side of the window / Then I click on Add/ I locate the plugins folder / I open it / I select the plugin that is not working (in this case, gmic) / I click on OK / Restart the PSP
This always works out for me.
> If you do this and it still doesn't work, then you have to see what the problem is, as it will depend on each computer:
- It may be that you have an old version of the PSP and as GMIC is a new plugin, it may not work, so it is a case of updating the PSP version. The author of these tutorials uses the PSP 2020, I use the PSP X9 and we had no problems.
- It could even be the file that the plugin came in, so you install another version;
- It could be a corrupted DLL, I suggest you install the DLLs again, Renée's website and other people have these DLLs;
- It may also be that you have Windows 11 installed and this is terrible because there are many plugins that don't work on it.
> I consulted Manyi and she told me that one of the things that can cause this is that many people, when downloading a plugin, download it to a folder, unzip it and then copy and paste it into the plugin folder.
She said it is to unzip directly into the plugins folder, which is what I do when I download, I click on Winrar and in Winrar itself I unzip it to the plugin folder inside the Plugins folder (maybe that's why, mine there was no problem).
Example: I download it, it goes straight to the Downloads folder, then I click on the winrar icon twice, it opens a window, at the top, I click on Extract to: / In the Extraction path and options window, on the side Right, I click on the + sign next to documents Documents (which is where my PSP plugins folder is) / click on the PLUGINS folder (folder where I put my plugins) / click on New Folder / select / click OK.
